Creating Cultures of Belonging

The Creating Cultures of Belonging program was developed to elevate racially and ethnically diverse women to lead authentically and Create Cultures of Belonging. 

Through our program we support racially and ethnically diverse women leaders to further their leadership style and impact. Our participants are ready to explore how the layers of their racial and ethnic experiences impact how they leverage their voice, talents and leadership to Create Cultures of Belonging (CCOB).

Through our
unique 12 week virtual program, participants engage in the CCOB 4 Phase Process designed to teach leaders how to skillfully and intentionally expand their racial and ethnic awareness and design new ways to lead within their organizations. Each phase integrates learning, small group discussion, group coaching, and skill drills and all session are facilitated on Zoom platform.
Here is a quick overview of what participants will experience in each phase:

P1 > CONFORM
  • Explore how your racial and ethnic identity/beliefs lead to conformity.
  • Create your own Equity Story.
  • Learn about the Positive Intelligence® (PQ) Framework and how it supports emotional intelligence and a growth mindset.

  • ​Understand the difference between belonging and fitting in.
  • Learn what are subtle acts of exclusion and their impact.
  • Explore Psychological Safety through the PQ® Mental Fitness program.
  • Gain tools and practices for leading with a positive mindset.

​** In Phase 2, participants begin the Positive Intelligence® Mental Fitness Program, which offers valuable tools for ​increasing self-awareness and improving emotional intelligence to effectively lead others in Creating Cultures of Belonging.  ​

  • ​Learn about boundaries and how to design and implement them.
  • Gain tools for how you can set clear boundaries.
  • Understand how you design leadership and professional boundary setting practices.

  • ​Explore the qualities of  a Culture of Belonging.
  • Conduct an integrative analysis of your system's belonging practices.
  • Develop action plans to support your efforts in creating belonging and encouraging authentic leadership.
